On feb21/24, I went at 52 st SE location. Brad was there to assist me and was helpful.
On mar25/24, I came in and Brad was there. I informed him that I am going to cancel my contract today. He said, you should inform us 2wks prior and people are only taking advantage of the free one month rent. I replied, as things happened unexpectedly, we had a house fire and someone break-in the house so temporarily I need the storage. I don't have a vehicle and only took a bus going to the store. I will take out the stuff and will take UBER. I also need a trolley. He said, what for? I replied, coz i will haul my stuff so I need a trolley to bring stuff to the front of the store. He mentioned he will step outside and i have to wait. I said, ok but i need a trolley. He did not bother to give it to me, instead, he continue to remove the ice by the roof edges even seeing me carrying the boxes and my stuff still did not bother to help me.
At 09:50am I'm done removing all my stuff at the storage and was in front of the door, saw a sign saying be back at 10:05am. I waited, but it is very cold to be waiting outside today however I was still patient. Passed 10:05am door still closed, i decided to call Storage Mart hotline#. Explained the situation, while still on the phone with Ronan, I saw Brad opening the door at exactly 10:20am. I even told this to Ronan. Ronan suggested that he could put a cancellation que on his end, then I requested to talk to the manager - Sarah (hope I got ur name right, my apology if not). Talked to Sarah and again explained the situation and she told me to address this matter accordingly. Afterwards, she said to forward this to DM and so I could talk to him if I want. Without hesitation, I replied YES right away.
